So, after a few months of not having my damned net, I'm back.
Wow, what an interesting couple of months. Where do I start?
Well, I started the second issue of Professor Ozark's Secret Medicine Show! A lot gets revealed and we have a huge action set piece that will hopefully dazzle and tickle. I'm planning to have that and a special top secret book done by Stumptown and ECCC. Plus, I'm working on trying to make some small figurines of our slightly mad and ever irritated scientist. I'm playing with the idea of doing a two part poly mold, but, I'm at a loss as to where to get the materials...and what I would use for the casting. Anybody with tips and links, I'd be much obliged.
I've been painting regularly, doing some pretty cool commissions for some friends, doing their kids as their favorite hero, which has brought in some much needed duckets. I've been contributing to the Gallery Zero, and amazingly enough, I've sold two paintings in two months, all to the same guy, who owns a very fantastic chain of restaurants in the area....anyone ever heard of Laughing Planet? Yeah, so really amazing patron, I'm very lucky he likes my stuff.
I'll upload everything I've been working on over the next week or so.
The most amazing thing to happen was that I was contacted by a small production company to help out with storyboards for an animated project. I'm locked by a NDA, so I can't disclose any information, but, if it's gets purchased, I'll have a steady gig, and I think it's great enough to catch on pretty quickly, so I'm SUPER excited about that.
Other than that, I've been working on my Heavy story, which has been having it's ups and downs, but, I'm really still trying to whittle down everything into a cohesive and well produced piece of material.
I can't wait to share all the things I've been working on, I think some of you guys will really dig it.
Until then...EXCELSIOR!

BIG NEWS
I've been teasing an announcement for the last couple of weeks and I can finally spill the beans.
Well known MMA fighter Nate "The Rock" Quarry has asked me to do the art chores on his book, Zombie Cage Fighter. It's a hell of a project with a hell of a generous and nice guy. Everything is locked and loaded and we are both extremely excited to get this thing out and in the hands of the masses.
So pumped and jazzed for this opportunity. It could very well set my career a few dozens rungs up from where I am now.
For those Dark Matters fans out there, I'm still on that book as well, so I'm not going anywhere, and you can bet your last dollar th

Commissions open for B+W portrait series!
Hello all!
I'm opening up commissions for a series of black and white portraits. I have posted a couple to give you an idea of what other folks have asked for.
12X16 sized canvas, black and white, commissions going for $100 US.
Any character, any genre, anything you can think of, in black and white. If I get enough takers, the images may end up as part of an art book that I think will be a fun idea.
Let me know in a private message or email me at heavythehorse@gmail.com if you are interested in getting a portrait for yourself or a loved one. I look forward to hearing from you.

Help support my Go Fund Me campaign!
Hey all! Heavy is rocking and rearing to go and the only thing holding me back is the necessary funding I need to print and produce the comic.
I'm a single dad, working a forty hour week job with all the responsibilities and finances that come with those things. It leaves me with having only free time to do art, but no real money to get it produced.
So, please, check out my GoFundMe and see if you want to give a little bit to help this dream that has been brewing for just over ten years.
Thanks!!
