Snake Charmer 1

I was asked by one of my clients to do a steam punk snake charmer. I came up with this. They loved it, but unfortunately some of his colleges were afraid that some of the imagery would be misunderstood. I thought this was kind of absurd as I was more commenting historically that snake charming began in Egypt and I thought that the character had a sense of being empowered by her particular skill, not indentured.   

Regardless, this is for a client, and they said they loved the original piece so much they will have it for sale as a print.  They actually loved my concept, but for whatever reason, the influence was there to change it.
